As part of the replacement main shell assembly of the SAG mill, Alignment Engineering was asked to provide alignment and geometric measurement services. This included bearing pedestal measurement / correction, sole plates flatness inclination and relative levels level, pinion gear mesh and main drive train alignment.

The mill was successfully re-installed within tolerance to as-found values and several geometry improvements made during reinstatement.
