Alignment Engineering was established in 1991 out of Optical Alignment Services. Founded by Chris O’Leary, Alignment Engineering was the first provider in New Zealand to perform laser alignment services using newly invented and patented Pruftechnik instrumentation.

Over the years we have grown our list of services and applications. Nowadays we are able to offer a team of specialist engineers across a range of industries. Our focus in the field is machine productivity, accuracy and reliability.

From our head office in Rotorua, New Zealand, we support specialist engineers onsite. We work on sites across the country; from sawmills and power stations, mines and food processing to chemicals and utilities. Our long history and experience allow us to call on a list of expertise to solve issues and optimise plants.

Our engineers also provide services internationally. Our history includes projects throughout Asia/Pacific as well as North America, South America and Africa
